Sylkia Webb Workshop Series: polymer clay baby dragons

Reschedule note: This workshop, originally dated Aug 25th was canceled at the last minute and rescheduled due to Kristi/Sylkia's accident. She accidentally cut her finger while prepping food and needed urgent care. Her fingertip was reattached with medial superglue, so we're expecting and hoping for a speedy recovery. 

Whether you're planning your DragonCon vacation, Dreaming of staying at home watching DragonCon TV, or relaxing away from all of those people, it's a great time to celebrate! The weekend before DragonCon we will spend a lovely evening making baby dragons from polymer clay. Sylkia Webb will teach you several different methods for each part to make your very own baby dragon in your own unique style. We will be baking and embellishing them on site, so this workshop will be a 4-hour event with finger foods and lots of snacks and drinks.

What the Heck do you need to know:

• The class will take place outdoors under the pavilion. The class will take place outdoors under the pavilion. If the weather is yucky, we can move inside. 
• Limited to 10 spots. Signing up is required by clicking "Buy Ticket." There is an option to pay in-person onsite when you sign up. 
• The fee is $40 per student. $30 goes to the art instructor, Sylkia, and $10 goes to Heck.house. Payment can be made online or in person. Online payment can be purchased via "Buy Tickets" or with Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Paypal here: www.heck.house/donate. Please make a note that it is for clay dragons
• Parking is on one side of Milton Street, the cross street that the driveway is located on.

Kristi is a professional artist with a degree and certification in art education from Georgia State University. She has taught many mediums at all age levels. She has also taught in a variety of venues, including public school systems, art centers, programs, and private lessons. Kristi is a member of the Heck.House board and acts as our Art Education Director.
