Sylkia Webb Workshop Series: Decorative Painting on Handcrafted Birdhouses

This is a special workshop using handcrafted, functional birdhouses with UV-protective outdoor paints. These birdhouses were made by a local artisan, Kevin Shockley. We will learn how to create decorative elements to create beautiful artwork for you and your bird friends to enjoy all year round.

Kristi is a professional artist with a degree and certification in art education from Georgia State University. She has taught many mediums at all age levels. She has also taught in a variety of venues, including public school systems, art centers, programs, and private lessons. Kristi is a member of the Heck.House board and acts as our Art Education Director.

What the Heck do you need to know:

• The class will take place outdoors under the pavilion.
• Limited to 9 spots. Signing up is required by clicking "Buy Ticket." There is an option to pay in-person onsite.
• The fee is $45 per student. $30 goes to the art instructor, Sylkia, and $15 goes to Heck.house. Payment can be made online or in person. Payment can be made online or in person. • Parking is on one side of Milton Street, the cross street that the driveway is located on.
