Upcycling Textiles

Learn and experiment with various techniques and upcycle textiles, and then complete your own artwork.

There will be a different project presented each time, but you are always welcome to "go your own way" in the words of Stevie Nicks. You are welcome to bring something of your own.

For Oct 23rd, we have a collection of unique vintage napkins that can be embroidered, scrap fabric to make bags out of, collage fabric, or even make accessories.

Led by local artist and teacher Abby Schomaker, a multidisciplinary artist with almost 20 years of experience. The pictures below are the cloth napkins and an example created by Mx. Abby.

What the Heck do you need to know:

• The workshop will take place outdoors under the pavilion or indoors in the front gallery.
