Sylkia Webb Workshop series: Needle Felting Monsters

It's summer spooky time!

Needle Felting is the process of stabbing fuzzy wool with a needle to sculpt it (or create flat art). We will start with an oval or round shape. There will be lots of example options for eyes, mouths, horns, feet, etc. Each student will get wool in their choice of colors to make the body and the features of their very own monster and 2-3 felting needles and small foam block to take home.

Kristi is a professional artist with a degree and certification in art education from Georgia State University. She has taught many mediums at all age levels. She has also taught in a variety of venues, including public school systems, art centers, programs, and private lessons. Kristi is a member of the Heck.House board and acts as our Art Education Director.
