About the event

An outdoor, storytelling open mic event. Bring your 5 to 7 minute true, personal story about contradictions.

Bring your 5 to 7 minute true, personal story about contradictions. As Walt Whitman said, "Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)” Tell us about a time you did something that you previously said you would never do. Or tell us about how you identify with two labels that others might think are complete opposites. Or how you find solitude in being surrounded by crowds. Tell us about the time you found truth in contradiction and gray areas.

If you want to share your story with others, please put your name in the hat! We want to hear your stories. No essays, standup, or poetry, please.

Hosted by Jessie Miller and Cat Nguyen.
