Heck Raising: a soft opening

 2 days: Sat, Nov 23 & Sun Nov 24 

time: 2pm to 10pm both days. 

This event is a soft opening is for local artists to leave their mark on Heck.house. This space was left unfinished intentionally to give artists the freedom to create their own custom, artistic environment. As the general theme at Heck is quilted, patched, handmade, and repurposed - Heck.house isn’t about conformity – it’s about community. And we want you to be a part of it.

Some of the projects available for y'all to work with are:

• Kitchen shelves using old rafter wood and copper and steel pipes
• Kitchen backsplash and island bar using random tiles provided
• A unique mailbox
• Outdoor rugs made of stones and pebbles (provided)
• An outdoor dining room table and “benches” composed of a 12 ft bowling alley lane and radiators
• Outdoor lighting to enhance nighttime event 
• Many, many more. Heck, you may think of something.

AND ask us about our biggest, most significant project: "A Heck of a Mural Coming Soon." This will be our GRAND OPENING - an all-day party with music, food, and drinks while we paint a mural on the venue. This event is open to the public but all mural work will be coordinated in advance with an art director and several artists. Oh! We need to find an art director so if this is your calling, let us know.
