Heidi Carpenter
For over 15 years now, Heidi Carpenter has been selling her unique puppet creations and performing as InJest Puppets (occasionally recruiting her musician husband Paul and talented daughter Joy to assist)! She currently serves as President of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild. Her favorite performing credit was playing ROCKY in The Rocky Horror Puppet Show! Heidi loves teaching puppet building and performance techniques to kids at various summer camps every year, and has built the masks and puppets for two productions of The Lion King Junior! She never misses the chance to perform at Atlanta PUPPET SLAMS, and is equally excited to do shows for toddlers! Her puppet creations are often made from unusual and unexpected materials such as: oven mitts, wooden spoons, car-wash mitts, gloves, recycled plastic bottles, fuzzy socks, thrift store toys, pizza box shadow stages, etc. She hasn't missed a National Puppetry Festival since attending her first one in 2007

Imp
Imp (they/them) is an MC and producer who posits themself at an intersection between eclectic metaphors, socially progressive content, and a cornucopia of comic book references. Imp is very atypical of most rap music coming out of Atlanta, eschewing triplet flows on trap music for densely compacted rhymes on beats more akin to boom-bap and jazz.
