The Wurst Weenie Hoedown Ever Fundraiser

We’re gonna put the fun in fundraiser with weenies. We’re gonna pull out some weenies to roast’em and dress’em up for a smackin’ good time. How do ya like your weenies? On fire or grilled? We’ll have firepits and a grill. Burn, baby, burn. Of course, they go in the buns so you can dress’em up all fancy. Throw on some onions, relish, chili, slaw, tomatoes, cheese, and so forth. Make it really purdy before puttin’ em in your mouth. Don’t do meat? Well, just devour the vegan ones. We’ll have tipsy drinks, as well as sober drinks, and s’mores for dessert. Yummy, yummy in your tummy!

We got another treat for ya. All the way from Denton, Texas, a couple of trans femme punkers gonna entertain ya real good. They are the Queer Ren Faire Dance Party on their tour: The Transexual XXX "Drag" EXXXtravagana Tour

• “Queer Ren Faire Dance Party is a two-piece, trans femme, country/folk punk band from Denton Texas, fueled by the overarching disdain for our community that seems to grow with every passing day. It’s beginning to feel less and less dramatic to say, that our shows are as much “protests” as they are shows. Our goal is to do our part in providing representation and a feeling of community to other trans and queer people, in whatever small part we might be able to, and to make music that sparks a visceral discomfort in people that might benefit from hearing it, in a very different way.”

Ain’t that perfect music to have a hoedown? Heck, we’ll have a contest and give out silly prizes. Come dressed in your best-est Kuntry outfit and make Dolly Parton proud. Between 5 and 7pm, We’ll ante up with good ol’ fashioned card games like poker, and inside the house, we’ll set up a silent auction of some local arts. We wanna make you holla for a dolla, but things ain’t that cheap. We need funds to keep Dekalb weird by supporting your local art community. We’re asking for the price of 3 dime bags as donations to attend. The $30 donation entitles you to weenies, drinks, and entertainment. Do bring mo’ moola to buy art, play poker, and tip the entertainers. We gotta keep it small with only 30 tickets. We promise to keep the fun big as heck. A rain or shine event, we got a roomy pavilion and canopies. 

tldr: We’re having a wiener (hotdog) roast fundraiser. We will have vegan and meat dogs to cook in the firepits or on the grill with a hotdog toppings bar. We’re also serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and s’mores for dessert. Our entertainment is a country/folk punk band from Texas called Queer Ren Faire Dance Party. We will have a hoedown contest and a silent art auction. We’re limited to only 30 attendees and asking for $30 donations that include the weenies, drinks, and entertainment. Do bring some money to buy art, play games, and tip entertainers. This is a rain-or-shine event. We will be in the pavilion and canopies if it’s rainy.
